Hypar Documentation

What is Hypar?

Hypar is the fastest way for architects and engineers to test layouts on a client's program and site. Easy to iterate, automatically measured.
Import a space program and quickly arrive at a proposal your client can understand. Track areas and equipment counts to bring accurate information to design discussions. When you're ready to develop construction documents, transfer your Hypar model to Revit without losing information. AI features like furniture and equipment suggestions help you plan faster without getting in the way.

Who Hypar is for?

  • Architects and engineers producing test fits, space plans, and early design options.
  • BIM managers connecting early planning to Revit or Rhino workflows and firm standards.
  • Anyone planning and designing a building in industries such as healthcare, education, workplace, retail, multifamily, data centers, and beyond.

What you can do:

  • Plan spaces in 3D. Draw buildings with rooms, circulation, doors, windows, and equipment, without the rework of Bluebeam or the overhead of Revit.
  • Track your program as you design. Live metrics show net and gross areas, counts, and how placed spaces compare to targets.
  • Start from what you have. Bring in the client's program, from a spreadsheet or dRofus, and their site, as a CAD underlay (DXF/DWG), image or PDF, or even a laser scan.
  • Try more layouts. Test multiple design options in one project and compare how each one fits.
  • Present and export. Walk your client through the plan in 3D and adjust it live. Create diagrams and presentation views; export to PDF, image, Excel, Revit, and Rhino.
