Chat (Beta)
The Chat panel opens automatically in new projects with starting points like "Define a space program" and "Create your first building." Describe what you want in plain language and Hypar's assistant can act directly in your model: create and reshape spaces, generate circulation, place components, import programs, create design options, tidy layouts, measure, and more.
- Attach files (images, spreadsheets) to give the assistant context.
- Everything the assistant does is undoable with Ctrl/Cmd+Z, like your own edits.
- Long chats: Hypar warns as a conversation fills up and offers Summarize & new to carry context into a fresh chat.
Layout suggestions
Hypar proposes furnished layouts for spaces:
- Suggestions show what you'd get (desk, seat, and bed counts) before you accept.
- Choose Expand space (grow the space to fit the layout) or Fit to space (adapt the layout to current dimensions).
- Accept suggestion to commit, or dismiss.
Use them while blocking: even at the blocking-plan stage, flipping through layout suggestions is a fast sanity check that a room size can actually hold what you need ("can this meeting room really seat 14?") before you commit to the plan.
Names drive suggestions. Accepting a layout names the space after it, and it works the other way too: rename a space "Exam Room" or "Meeting" and tailored layouts appear.
Suggestions are size-aware. Expand a meeting room and new, larger layouts appear. They also learn from you: rooms you've laid out (or pasted in from a library project) show up as future suggestions, and swapping in a different desk and chair rebuilds desk suggestions around your choice.
Desk layouts. Name a space "Open Office" for desk suggestions. Then select all desks (multi-select tool or Shift+box-select) and set exact back-to-back and aisle spacing: type dimensions or drag the dotted-line handle.
Where do suggestions come from? Suggestions come from Hypar's built-in layouts, your own libraries (marked with a library icon), and layouts already in your project.
